On Lotus Pond Part 11: Under the Molten Sky

After a day of being away due to work and another day of being locked out and finally getting the key, here’s the 11th chapter. Because I did a quick typing of this chapter and also because this is my first attempt in writing the Carlos D/ Daniel Kessler Slash Fan fic, this story is prone to grammatical errors and plot holes.
Click for Parts Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One and the Prologue.
Disclaimer: The following literary attempt is purely fictional. The names of the main characters happen to have real life counterparts in the form of very very gorgeous people. Any incident, character or anything that happened in the real life are purely coincidental. While I am somewhat obliged to say that I don’t own these real people, I am just informing anyone not to copy this story and make a buck out of it. Just read and try to enjoy if you please.
Carlos watched as summer’s dusk quietly starts to settle all over the land through the lone window in the room.
He was lying on a rickety bed, covered with nothing but a thin sheet of cotton blanket from the hip down.
Lying beside him is a random dark haired man he met in the covert club. Same subtle words. Same lust. Same place.
This man wasn’t so bad in bed, Carlos thought. After all, he just needed to satisfy his physical craving and nothing else. And yet, it still left a void which he cannot exactly tell.
Then he decided that he needed a cigarette so, he reached over to the bedsite cabinet on his side and fished out one cigarette from his leather cigarette case.
The dark haired man beside him instantly lit a lighter which Carlos took graciously before lighting his own cigarette.
They both took several puffs from their respective cigarette before the other man spoke.
“He’s lucky.”
“What?” Carlos turned to look at the man’s face. It was the first time he looked at his face since they went to bed together.
“This Daniel. Whoever he is.” the man spoke before taking another puff from his cigarette. “You’ve been calling his name hours ago. Lucky bastard.”
Carlos didn’t say anything and turned his attention back to the window.
Then the man crawled his other hand and began to stroke Carlos’ inner thigh.
“I wish I was as lucky as that Daniel.”
Carlos automatically took the man’s hand and shoved it away. “Shut up Hince! You can dream on. Besides, you’re already married so stick to your model wife.”
After finishing his cigarette, Carlos stood up and decided to put on his clothes.
The other man remained in bed and observed him as he dressed up.
“You know Carlos, if I were you, I’d go after him. He might be the one, you know.”
Carlos didn’t say anything but cast a momentary glance at the other man before getting out of the room.
