Today’s Mixtape can be accessed through here.
Because this is my first attempt in writing the Carlos D/ Daniel Kessler Slash Fan fic, this story is prone to grammatical errors and plot holes.

Disclaimer: The following literary attempt is purely fictional. The names of the main characters happen to have real life counterparts in the form of very very gorgeous people. Any incident, character or anything that happened in the real life are purely coincidental. While I am somewhat obliged to say that I don’t own these real people, I am just informing anyone not to copy this story and make a buck out of it. Just read and try to enjoy if you please.
Daniel was amongst the audience. He couldn’t remember the place. Must be an auditorium or music hall. He could not understand why he was there when he saw Carlos onstage standing at the conductor’s pedestal looking smart with his impeccable cocktail suit, silk waistcoat, and matching bowtie and his dark curly hair slicked back.
Carlos took his conductor’s baton and tapped it to silence the whole room.
With a wave of his hand, the invisible orchestra began to play.
Tchaikovsky’s Lake in the Moonlight.
Daniel remembered that song when Carlos played it on the phonograph a few days ago.
On stage, Carlos passionately led the orchestra with every stroke of his baton. Beads of sweat on his forehead glistened under the spotlight.
After the performance, the whole audience erupted to a thundering applause.
Carlos turned around and bowed gracefully. He must have seen Daniel in the audience as he flashed a rare smile to his direction.
From the side of the stage, Daniel saw a dark figure emerged and began to move to the center of the stage. To Carlos’ direction.
The dark figure managed to grab Carlos from behind.
Daniel tried to scream but nothing came from his mouth.
As Carlos tried to struggle for freedom, the dark figure raised his other hand. On his raised hand is a long, shiny knife.
Daniel tried to run to save Carlos just as the knife pierced into Carlos’ chest.
Deep red blood spewed all over the stage and seemed to have immersed the whole room in a crimson river and the figure dropped Carlos’ body into it.
Daniel struggled to wade through the river of blood. Not far from him, Carlos’ unconscious body floated.
Daniel called out Carlos’ name and reached out but a great wave swept them apart.
Then, he woke up screaming.
